Frankie Travis

Frankie Travis is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. She continued her studies in private voice with Broadway performer Thelma Dare Ahner, the Eric Morris Technique for 5 years with Master Teacher, Lennie Dean and dance with Mary Dilillo.  She has since worked under the direction of Lawrence Kasden in Mumford and with other companies including the Manhattan Theatre Source, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and the Peninsula Civic Light Opera. As well she was a board member, company member and teacher with Studio Be Theatre in Northern California.

Frankie’s life & work reaches across the boundries of teaching, acting, dance, motherhood activism, producing retreats & living bi-coastally.

Her work has been with people of all ages through private coaching, audition preparation, performance collaboration, teaching the Eric Morris Technique, piano, yoga, dance and stage combat. 

One of her favorite roles performed was Bassanio, from the Merchant of Venice, with San Francisco based company, Women’s Will. As a director, actress and producer Frankie has worked on over 75 productions throughout California and NYC and presently is a collective member of The Orchard Spotlight in Santa Rosa, California and Manhattan Theatre Source in New York City.

Frankie has focused on the Eric Morris Technique for the foundation of her craft as a performer and teacher due to the authenticity it has brought to her career and life. She is currently living the wild and wooly dream of performance, motherhood and bicoastal living.
